Chris and Amber's wedding was awesome and very fitting for who they are as a couple. The ceremony was held on the beach and luckily the weather was perfect - sunny, breezy and not too hot. All the groomsmen wore black Converse high tops and Amber wore pink ones that went with her super cute white dress and pink bow.
Chris' dad married them and after reading vows that they wrote themselves just about everyone was tearing up. After the wedding they took a group pictures of all the guests. It was really nice to see everyone and many people had come from a long way away. But seeing Chris and Amber get married was a pretty big deal - after all they have been dating for about nine years and engaged for two.
While the wedding party was taking pictures in the park the rest of headed to Butch's for a drink and then to Alpen Rose for the reception. Everything was really nice, the food was lovely and the cupcakes were divine. Then they opened the bar and started the music and a very good time was had by all - Sean even caught the garter.
The bride and groom hosted a brunch the next day where most of us said our goodbyes for another year. Hopefully there will be a wedding next summer so we can all see each other again. Congrats Chris and Amber!
