I had some extra time in Columbus so I decided to see some of the new projects on campus that had been finished while I had been away.
The first building I visited was the new library which was absolutely awesome. It was huge and beautiful with room for lots of books. I only wish it had been around for me to use while I was there.
Another place I visited was the student union which was another impressive building. There were food courts, coffee shops, lounges and lots of offices but the thing that made it cool was that it was outfitted completely (and not surprisingly) in scarlet and gray.
I took a stroll down High Street and visited some of the bookstores and then on Sunday I went to brunch with Dani and some other professors at one of my favorite restaurants called the North Star Cafe. I especially like their homemade ginger ale!
Columbus is such a special place for me and it is always fun to go back but hard to say goodbye when it is time to leave. Thanks to everyone who hosted me - I'm so glad I got to spend some time with you! Go Bucks!
